Humans have progressed a lot in today’s modern world. Advances have been made in many fields, like history geography technology and science health etc. But man is trying to progress in one field and he succeeds but not completely because the field is so big the less we find out about him. Tell me, what is that area? Don’t know what happened? Don’t worry I say. Space is the field. Yes which we also know as universe. No matter how much research is done about it, there is very little. Its structure is much bigger and more complex than we imagine. So today let us learn about some fun interesting and never heard facts of this space.
Galaxy
The most beautiful structure in the universe is the galaxy. There are numerous caste stars, star groups and planets.
1. There are over 2 trillion (2,000,000,000,000) observable galaxies in this universe.
2. The galaxy we live in is called the Milky Way Galaxy.
Solar System
The solar system is an important focal point in our galaxy. The solar system is the sun, moon, stars, and numerous collective entities such as comets and asteroids.
1. About 4.6 billion years ago, the collapse of a giant nuclear cloud formed the Solar System, or Solar System. This is not my opinion, it is the opinion of scientists.
2. So far 194 moons, 3583 comets and 7,96,289 asteroids have been discovered in the solar system.
Planet
A planet is an object made up of atomic elements in the universe.
1. There are total 8 planets in our solar system. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune etc.
1.Mercury
1. Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun. Due to its proximity, it is not easily visible except by chance light.
2. Mercury has no moons or rings.
3. A year on Mercury is/takes only 88 days on Earth.
2. Venus
1.Venus is the second planet in our solar system, sometimes called Earth’s sister because of its similar size.
2.Venus is as big as Earth and its diameter is 12,104 km.
3. A year on Venus takes 225 Earth days.
3.Earth
1. Earth is the third planet in our solar system.
2. Earth is the only planet where life exists and where we live.
3. According to scientists, Earth was formed approximately 4.54 billion years ago.
4.Mars
1.Mars is the fourth planet in our solar system
2. Mars is home to the highest mountains in the solar system.
3. Mars is the only terrestrial planet whose atmosphere is mainly composed of carbon dioxide.
5.Jupiter
1. Jupiter or Jupiter is the fifth planet in our solar system.
2.Jupiter or Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system as it is two and a half times 2.5% more than the combined size of other planets in the solar system.
3. It is a planet made mainly of gas hence it is also called a gas giant.
6.Saturn
1. Saturn is famous for its magnificent ring system and is the sixth planet in the solar system.
2. Saturn has 150 moons and minor planets.
3. Titan and Rhea are Saturn’s largest moons.
7.Uranus
1. Uranus is the seventh planet in the solar system that cannot be seen with the naked eye and requires the use of a telescope to see it.
2. Uranus was officially discovered by Sir William Herschel in 1781.
3. Uranus makes one trip around the Sun every 84 Earth years.
8.Neptune
1. Neptune is the eighth planet in the solar system.
2. Neptune is the most distant planet in the solar system.
3. One year on Neptune is equal to 165 years on Earth.
So guys this was today’s space fun facts i.e. fun facts from universe hope you liked it and learned something.
